About us
Located on the shore of Lake Gyékényes, on Tópart Street, the Colorful Lakeside Houses offer an ideal location for those who want to combine a peaceful environment with proximity to the water. Our holiday homes are available in two types: smaller, cozy, colorful houses for 1-4 people, while larger houses can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. Each building is fully equipped, with its own jetty, boat, barbecue and outdoor cooking facilities.
The crystal clear water is ideal for swimming, fishing and water sports. The area is ideal for excursions, cultural and gastronomic programs, and due to its proximity to the Croatian border, even short trips across the border can be easily incorporated into your vacation.
For the safety of our guests, all houses are equipped with surveillance cameras and webcams, but there are no cameras inside the houses, so privacy is completely guaranteed. With the option of personal booking, we can always provide the house that best suits the needs of our guests.

As our houses are advertised on several platforms, we can provide immediate and accurate information about the latest available dates by message or phone.
During the summer season (June-July-August), the minimum booking period is 1 week. For small houses, this is from Monday to Monday, and for large houses, from Friday to Friday.
In the case of multi-day holidays, the minimum booking period is extended to 3-4-5 days.

How far are the houses from Lake Gyékényes?
Each house is located directly on the waterfront. There is a small yard in front of and behind the houses, and the pier itself is about 20 meters from the house.
What kind of kitchen equipment is available? Is bedding provided?
The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a coffee maker, microwave oven, gas stove, dishes, glasses, and cutlery.
You do not need to bring bedding; we will take care of that.
Where can I park?
Parking is available in the enclosed courtyard next to the house, or on the street.
Are the houses equipped with some kind of security system?
Of course, we also took security considerations into account when designing the houses. Every house is equipped with a surveillance camera and an alarm system. There are no cameras inside the houses!
Under what conditions can you go fishing? Where can you get fishing licenses?
General fishing rules also apply to Lake Gyékényes.
Can dogs and other pets be brought along?
In our large houses, dogs and small pets are of course welcome. Ferrets are only allowed if they are house-trained.
In our small houses, due to the shared yard, small pets are only allowed if all 4 houses are booked at the same time.
Is there a boat? Do I have to pay extra for that?
Every house has its own boat, so there is no need to pay extra.
Is there a fishing shop nearby?
There is no fishing shop in the village, but you can find many things at the local gas station. It is better if everyone brings their own serious equipment.
Is there heating in the house?
Heating is installed in every house (convector and heating/cooling air conditioning). Our prices only include normal heating costs. In the event of extreme consumption, the costs will be borne by the vacationer.
The use of heaters and mobile air conditioners is prohibited!
Do I have to pay tourist tax?
Unfortunately, tourist tax must be paid. This must be collected by the local government in addition to the accommodation costs. Those under the age of 18 are exempt from paying tourist tax. The tourist tax is 300 HUF per person per night.
Are there any shopping facilities nearby?
Yes. There are several small shops and a gas station in the village, but Csurgó is located about 10 km from our houses. There is a Penny and Lild supermarket as well as several gas stations there.
